WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. — Two people are facing charges after authorities raided a Westmoreland County home Wednesday and found precursors and chemicals that are used in the manufacturing of synthetic narcotics, officials said.
Members of the state police clandestine unit, with the assistance of other county agencies, raided the residence at 517 S. Seventh St. in Youngwood Borough around 10:30 a.m. Authorities said they found a drug lab, where MDMA, also known as Molly, was being made. %

Investigators wore hazmat suits to protect themselves from the chemicals found in the lab.
Neighbors who spoke with Channel 11 News said they suspected drug activity at the home for a while.
“It scares me. My kids are out here playing,” neighbor Patti Cromlin said. “A few years ago, we went to the police, and they didn’t do anything.”
Authorities said Allen Vidonish and Kelli Durler were arrested and face numerous drug-related charges.
Channel 11’s Damany Lewis is told that the two arrested had a baby, who was not in the home at the time of the raid, but is now in protective services.
