Allegheny General Hospital to get new president

Dr. David Parda

PITTSBURGH — Dr. Imran Qadeer has been named interim president of Allegheny General Hospital, taking over for Dr. David Parda, an internationally known radiation oncologist who will be taking a job with parent company Allegheny Health Network.

Parda has served as president of AGH since 2019 and before that had been the founder and chair of the AHN Cancer Institute. He’ll become AHN’s publication and research collaboration physician executive. The newly created role will be in charge of all patient-related clinical trials happening at AHN and working with AHN and Highmark Health, its parent company.
