RIDC lands life sciences firm for Chocolate Factory at Lawrenceville Technology Center

PITTSBURGH — The Microbial Genome Sequencing Center LLC, known as MiGS for short, is moving to the Lawrenceville Technology Center, where it will more than triple in size.

The Regional Industrial Development Corp. of Southwestern Pennsylvania announced that it has signed MiGS for a new 5,509-square-foot space at the Chocolate Factory within the Lawrenceville Technology Center business park in a five-year lease.

The company expects to move from its 1,500-square-foot space downtown to the new office in March 2022, with the new space expected to be used for offices and research with also an option for a lab.
