PITTSBURGH — Interested in appearing in a Netflix series? Well, here’s your opportunity.
The Nancy Mosser Casting agency in Pittsburgh is looking for extras for a new Netflix series called “Mindhunter.” The series is being produced by Hollywood notables like David Fincher and Charlize Theron.
The show will follow two FBI agents who pioneered behavioral profiling in the 1970s. Filming will take place in Pittsburgh from May to December.
Because the show will deal with crime and police, the casting agency is looking for extra actors to portray police offices, EMTs, firefighters, military members and FBI agents.
Experience with any of those professions is preferred but not required for applicants. Most of those chosen to appear in the show will only work for one to three days.
The casting agency will hold an open house on April 16 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the company’s studio at 3583 Butler Street in Pittsburgh.
