WASHINGTON, Pa. — A man held a local store clerk at gunpoint and demanded money Saturday afternoon, police said.
The situation unfolded moments before a customer walked in the door.
Surveillance video captures the man walking into the Metro PCS, a block from the Washington County Courthouse, carrying a grocery store plastic bag. Another angle shows when he places the bag on the counter and pulls out a gun, points it at the clerk and demands cash. The video shows the clerk slowly lowering off of his stool toward the cash register and beginning to collect bills, handing them to the robber and then placing both hands in the air.

The clerk told police the suspect said, "Give me all the money. Don’t touch anything or I will kill you.”
Seconds later, another customer walks in the store. Police said the clerk told him to leave, locked the door and called 911.
Workers in the area are hoping someone recognizes the suspect in the video.
