Diesel Club Lounge Celebrating 5 Years With DJ Pauly D

PITTSBURGH,None — Diesel Club Lounge on Pittsburgh's South Side is celebrating its five year anniversary on Friday with DJ Pauly D from the popular MTV hit show "Jersey Shore." The celebration is the Official Britney Spears After-Party.

Diesel was opened on June 9, 2006, by the AMPD Group run by Adam, Michael and Patrick DeSimone.

The dance club, concert and event venue is boasting recent dynamic upgrades, including some ultra exclusive VIP table service sections with two glass-enclosed VIP areas, strategically placed on either side of the dance floor -- perfect for celebrating any social occasion with a small gathering of friends.

The mezzanine has seven popular sunken "skybox" areas. Surrounding the skyboxes is a custom built stainless steel and glass railing system with unobstructed lines of sight for all stage events. Over the mezzanine table service areas are uniquely illuminated archways, adding definitive character to this level. Custom-made leather furniture with stainless steel etched glass cocktail tables, are placed within these areas. Also on this mezzanine level, is a distinctive private, glass-enclosed room for larger groups, to entertain clients or to accommodate celebrities' privacy needs. With the flip of the switch, the electric static glass panels can change from clear to frosted, for additional privacy. The club's interior was completely refreshed with stainless steel mosaic, illuminated staircases, metallic black floor tile, and custom wrought iron backlit wall panels.

The entire lighting, laser and video control system has been upgraded, allowing the Diesel lighting directors to have complete manipulation over the vibe of the room. Above the dance floor is a twelve foot custom made LED Video Sphere along with perimeter lined LED ceiling panels made up of over 60,000 LED pixels to entertain guests' visual experience. This technologically advanced Sphere is "the only one in the world" and lowers within arms reach of the crowd while Cryogenic Jets blast 30 degree C02 to instantly cool the dance floor. The overhaul of the club's award winning lighting system was designed by the AMPD Group's Adam and Michael DeSimone along with the Club's Entertainment Director, Andrew Meyer.

Over the years, Diesel has hosted events with Chris Daughtry, Bruce Springsteen, Sean Kingston, the Black Eyed Peas, LMFAO, Derek Jeter, Alyssa Milano, Danity Kane, 30H!3, The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Stanley Cup and many more.
