GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN — Some middle school students watched on in wonder as an injured duck was given a chance to waddle again.
Phillip the Duck lost his feet to frostbite and was scheduled to be put down.
But a Wisconsin middle school technology teacher used his 3-D printer to make Phillip some new, synthetic flippers.
They are made out of a strong material called Ninja-Flex and took about 36-hours to make.
It took Phillip a while, but eventually he got used to his new feet.
Phillip the Duck will be sent to live out his days at a Wisconsin animal sanctuary.
