FORD CITY,None — Crews have decided to temporarily close the Crooked Creek Lake Tunnelville Beach in Armstrong County after samples reported high levels of E. Coli.
Visitors will still be allowed to use the peninsula near the lake for other activities.
The beach will remain closed until sample results fall within Pennsylvania health standards.
Earlier this week, three girls from the Zaboski family all fell ill after swimming in the lake.
They were not diagnosed with E. Coli, but an intestinal parasite.
