PITTSBURGH — Federal search warrants were executed Wednesday at nine electronics businesses in the Pittsburgh area, including five Ninja Electronics locations.
U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton said the warrants were executed as part of an ongoing federal investigation, the details of which have not been released.
Special agents from the FBI, the IRS’ criminal investigation division and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service executed the warrants. They were assisted by police officers from Shaler and Ross townships and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police.
The following locations were searched:
- Ninja Electronics on Wood Street in downtown Pittsburgh
- Ninja Electronics on East Carson Street on Pittsburgh's South Side
- Ninja Electronics on West Liberty Avenue in Dormont
- Ninja Electronics on South Braddock Avenue in Edgewood Town Centre
- Trader Electronics on Smithfield Street in downtown Pittsburgh
- The Outlet on West Liberty Avenue in Dormont
- Last Call Entertainment on Lincoln Avenue in Bellevue
- Ninja Electronics on Babcock Boulevard in Ross Township
- 412Flip LLC on Forbes Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh
Officials told Channel 11 News that no one was arrested Wednesday, but added that the federal investigation will continue.
