Pennsylvania State Police and the Manor Police Department were notified of the incidents, which happened in the Manor neighborhood of West Hempfield, Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education Mark Gross said in a letter to parents.

According to the letter that was sent home by the school district after the incident, two students were approached at their bus stop by the man, who attempted to start a conversation with them. He also offered them toy cars before getting into his vehicle and leaving when the bus arrived.

The man continued driving through the neighborhood and asked another student, who was walking to his bus stop, if he would like a toy car, the letter said. The boy refused to talk, and the man drove away.

All three students told their parents after school what had happened, and the West Hempfield Middle School principal was notified.

The man will not face any charges.

Police said the parents still did the right thing by reporting the incident.
