PITTSBURGH — Following a dominating Sept. 11 victory against Serra Catholic, the Jeannette football program now stands in elite company.
With that win, Jeannette’s football operation has amassed 700 triumphs in its historic tenure.
The school celebrated the milestone Friday afternoon as current and former players were brought into the school for an impromptu pep rally. Coaches, the band, cheerleaders and of course, students, partook in the event.
Jeannette is only the second WPIAL football team to record 700 wins.
