CLAIRTON, Pa. — A jitney driver who was shot multiple times late Tuesday in Clairton drove to a nearby Unimart to call for help, police said.
According to investigators, the 33-year-old man was the target of an attempted robbery shortly before 11 p.m. on North Sixth Street.

The shooter ran away and has not been found. After the shooting, the victim went to the Unimart on Route 837 and called police.
He was taken to a hospital and is listed in critical but stable condition.
Allegheny County police ask anyone who saw or heard the robbery and shooting on North Sixth Street to call them or contact hem on social media.
