AMBRIDGE, Pa.,None — Police said a 19-year-old man was beaten and shot twice at Crestview Village in Ambridge.
The victim was shot in the arm and chest just after 7 p.m.
He was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital.
A juvenile was arrested shortly afterward, and charged in the crime.
Detectives believe the shooting is retaliation for another fight that broke out in the neighborhood the night before.
"There was about five or six dudes beating up a guy. He was on the ground and they were hitting him with sticks and stuff, and once he got up, someone yelled 'go get the gun' and he took off running around the other building. And then all you heard was two gunshots and the cops came up here," said one witness who wanted to remain anonymous.
