2 suspects in rash of armed robberies in Sheraden arrested

PITTSBURGH — Police have arrested two suspects and issued an arrest warrant for a third person accused in several armed robberies in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood.

Keith Adams, 19, of McKeesport, and Shamel Walls, 15, of Sheraden, were both arrested Oct. 4.

According to police, Walls and Adams are part of a group of three or four men responsible for a number of armed robberies in Sheraden.

Investigators said they were able to identify Adams and Walls, who will be charged as an adult, through surveillance footage.

Adams is facing several charges, including robbery, recklessly endangering another person and receiving stolen property. He is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.

Walls is also facing charges of robbery, criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property. He is also being held in the Allegheny County Jail.

Detectives said they have identified a third suspect from the robberies and identified him as 18-year-old Diante Adams, of Wilkinsburg.
