PITTSBURGH — Two women told police a man broke into their home in Pittsburgh’s Greenfield neighborhood.
A Pittsburgh public information officer said police were called to a house on the 900 block of Greenfield Avenue for reports of a burglary at 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday.
The two women who live there met with arriving officers and said they were both on the second floor when they heard a loud noise at their downstairs front door.
When they went to see what was happening, they found a man standing on their stairwell landing.
Police said the women confronted him, and he ran out of the home. They said he was traveling towards Murray Avenue.
A set of vehicle keys was reported stolen, and the front door of the home was also damaged.
No injuries were reported.
