PITTSBURGH — A man was shot and killed in Pittsburgh’s Northview Heights neighborhood Monday night.
The medical examiner’s office has identified the man as Deron McCray, 23, of the Hill District.

According to officials, police and paramedics were dispatched to the 1400 block of Chicago Street for reports of a shooting inside of a residence.
McCray was transported to the Allegheny General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:53 p.m.
An autopsy will be performed Tuesday.
Police are continuing to investigate.
