3 ordered to stand trial, accused of aiding fugitive who killed Lower Burrell officer

LOWER BURRELL, Pa. — Three people were ordered to stand trial, accused of helping the man who killed a Lower Burrell police officer

Officer Derek Kotecki was killed last October while trying to arrest Charlie Post. Post was also killed in the shootout with police.

According to court documents, Post’s brother, and two women gave him food, money and a pre-paid cellphone in the days leading up to the shooting.

The three are charged with conspiracy and hindering apprehension.
