Air Canada announces return of service between Pittsburgh and Montreal

PITTSBURGH — Daily, nonstop flights between Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) and Montreal-Trudeau International Airport in Canada are coming back later this spring, Air Canada announced.

Now set to operate on a year-long basis, the return of the PIT and Montreal service follows Air Canada’s prior announcement marking the return of its PIT and Toronto service, which started back up with daily flights for the first time since the pandemic’s onset on Aug. 1, 2021. Flights out of Montreal will occur at 2:05 p.m. and land at PIT at 3:47 p.m. The plane will then return to Montreal later that day at 5:51 p.m. after taking off at PIT at 4:20 p.m.

Air Canada’s newest service at PIT also comes as part of a larger network expansion for Canada’s largest carrier, which celebrates the restoration of 41 North American routes and the return to 11 North American cities, according to a company press release.
