CABOT, Pa. — A Butler County man is charged with 15 counts of possession of child pornography after an online investigation, the attorney general's office announced.
Ernest Campbell IV, of Cabot, was arrested July 27 after a search warrant was executed at his home. Evidence of suspected child pornography was found on a laptop and an external hard drive seized from the home, according to an attorney general's office release.

In addition to the 15 counts of possession of child pornography, Campbell is charged with four counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
On the same day that the attorney general's office released information on Campbell's arrest, it was announced that four other men have been arrested on charges related to the possession and distribution of child pornography: Evan Lawbaugh, 32, of Waynesboro, Franklin County; Luke Zelinsky, 51, of Pottsville, Schuylkill County; Marc Eversole, 23, of Milton, Northumberland County; and Nicodemo Zangari, 71, of Lancaster, Lancaster County.
A release stated that one of the suspects, who was arrested last year on similar charges, is facing new charges of manufacturing child pornography. Another suspect was arrested after allegedly using the Internet to set up a sexual encounter with people he believed to be a mother and her two young daughters.
The attorney general's office said the arrests are the result of a continuous online investigation by the Office of Attorney General's Child Predator Section.
