Car crashes into dealership showroom

PITTSBURGH — Emergency crews rushed to the scene of a car accident late Wednesday morning in Overbrook when a vehicle crashed into a car dealership.

According to Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE, no injuries were reported when the vehicle went through the glass of the Leopardi Auto Sales showroom at the intersection of Routes 51 and 88 around 11 a.m.

General Manager Tom Bertram told TribLIVE the driver said he accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and went into the glass. The crashing car didn't strike any part of the building other than the glass and didn't strike any of Leopardi's inventory parked inside, he said.
