Craigslist transaction ‘safe zones' popping up at police stations across country

NEW YORK — Selling or buying items on Craigslist may not be for everyone, especially in light of recent crimes involving the website.

In effort to calm some of those fears, a growing number of police stations across the country are creating ‘safe zones’ to help online sellers and buyers complete their transactions in a secure environment.
