Two crashes caused traffic delays on Route 28 in Allegheny County Sunday around 4:30 p.m., according to PennDOT.
One crash blocked the left lane on Route 28 northbound at the 40th Street Bridge/Lawrenceville exit.
An Allegheny County supervisor says one person was taken to the hospital from that crash.
Another crash blocked the left lane on Route 28 northbound between the 31st Street Bridge ramps.
The 911 supervisor says no injuries were reported in that crash.
PennDOT cameras showed traffic backed up to near I-279.
