Crews battled a house fire in McCandless Township overnight.

The fire broke out on Forestvue Avenue along Perry Highway just after 3 a.m.
A motorist passing by saw the flames and called it in. Ingomar Volunteer Company is nearby and was able to respond quickly.
The deputy chief told Channel 11 the house was under renovation and was not occupied. He said this is the second time it caught fire in the past year or two.
Fire marshals from Allegheny County and McCandless are investigating the cause.
