BETHEL PARK, Pa. — A driver had a scary encounter near a local Walmart on Thursday.
Around 8:30 a.m., the driver was parked near the Walmart on Library Road when a male with a knife got into the back seat and “made demands,” according to Bethel Park police.
The driver got out quickly and called for help while the suspect fled.
Officers surrounded the area and were able to arrest him with help from witnesses.
The suspect is expected to face charges in connection with the incident, police say. He has not been identified.
