McKEESPORT, Pa. — Family and friends gathered Sunday for a vigil honoring a man shot to death in an alley in McKeesport.
Brandon Barley, 60, was described by loved ones as a man who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
"All these friends that he got out here, you know, it's overwhelming," said Julia Barley-Blair, Barley's twin sister.
Barley-Blair said losing her brother was like losing a part of herself.
"This is really devastating to me," she said. "I just want my brother back, and I know that's hard. I know I'm not going to get him back."
Barley was fatally shot Feb. 20 in Pope Alley, near Jenny Lind Street. No arrests have been made in his killing.
Witnesses told police that two men were seen fleeing the area in a dark sedan.
During Sunday's vigil, those in attendance prayed for whoever is responsible for Brandon Barley's death, saying that they are the ones who need prayers.
