DRAVOSBURG, Pa. — Fire damaged a commercial building in Dravosburg Sunday.

First responders were called to the 300 block of Washington Avenue at 9:20 a.m., an Allegheny County 911 supervisor says.
The Dravosburg fire chief arrived on scene and saw smoke coming from all four sides of the building, according to Michael Palcsey, safety officer for Dravosburg Volunteer Fire Department No. 1.
While Dravosburg crews worked to put out the fire inside, crews from other departments went to the roof to locate the fire and ensure conditions were safe for those inside.
No one was inside the building when the fire happened. The building’s owner is now working with firefighters to ensure the building is safe, Palcsey says.
Although the extent is unknown, Palcsey says the building suffered significant smoke and water damage.
No injuries were reported, and the fire’s cause remains under investigation.
