GREENSBURG, Pa. — Greensburg police said they're investigating a disturbing prank that targeted two widows in the area.
According to Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE, police said a man called two widows and claimed to have family member tied up.
Investigators said one woman asked where the man was calling from and he hung up. Police said the woman's daughter was later found safe.
Greensburg police said they plan on contacting other departments to see if they have received similar reports.
