PITTSBURGH — Channel 11's Alan Jennings reported Monday that the chief executive officer of Highmark Inc. has completed anger management classes in relation to an incident in March.
Kenneth Melani was charged with simple assault and defiant trespass after police said he fought his girlfriend's estranged husband.
Investigators said Melani went to the home of a woman he was having an affair with in March, walked in uninvited, started calling her names and got into a fight with her husband, Mark Myler.
According to the criminal complaint, Melissa Myler was hired by Melani in October 2011. The complaint stated that about three weeks after she was hired, Melani and Myler began an affair.
Jennings spoke to Mark Myler on Monday. He said he was unaware that Melani had finished his classes and is ready to move on.
“I can’t, you know. Sorry. I’m moving on,” Myler said Monday.
Jennings reported that Melani is scheduled to appear in court on June 6 and the charges in relation to the incident are expected to be dropped.
