CAVE CREEK, Ariz. — Though the Steelers didn't make it to the University of Phoenix Stadium to play in Super Bowl XLIX, fans of the Black & Gold still have a place to go in Arizona where they can feel welcome.
Harold's Cave Creek Corral, located in Cave Creek is a Steelers bar owned by Pittsburgh native Dan Piacquadio.
"We step it up and make people feel like they are back in the 'burgh," said Piacquadio.
He said everyone is family at his bar.
"We talk about who is growing up, who is getting married and the Steelers on Sunday."
Channel 11's Damany Lewis paid a visit to the bar, where he spoke with Steeler greats Dermontti Dawson and Merril Hoge during an event.
"If there was a place outside of Pittsburgh that you felt you were in Pittsburgh, it would be right here," said Hoge.
Dawson said he lives for events where he can talk about his memories with the Steelers and connect with people who have supported him throughout his career.
He and Hoge agree that it's time to see Jerome Bettis enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Check out the videos to the left to see what they had to say.
