Investor buys Lawrenceville property in what might be the neighborhood’s next redevelopment site

LAWRENCEVILLE, Pa. — A Washington, D.C. developer with deep pockets has bought an industrial property in the sixth ward of Lawrenceville that looks to be a future redevelopment play.

The property is 32 39th Street, currently an industrial property of about 2.5 acres that was the one-time home of Aquinon Energy that more recently has been used by such companies as Aurora Innovation, its predecessor, Uber Advanced Technology Group, and Carnegie Robotics.

Dalian Development, particularly active in Philadelphia, confirmed it has bought the property and signaled it is scouting for others.
