Juvenile falls 3 stories while working on roof in Pittsburgh, seriously injured

PITTSBURGH — A juvenile is seriously injured after falling from a building in Pittsburgh.

Police and medics were sent to the 5800 block of Bryant Street in Highland Park around 10:30 a.m., according to the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department.

The juvenile was reportedly working on the roof when he fell about three stories.

Medics took him to the hospital with a serious head injury. He was last said to be in grave condition.

A man who works across the street tells us that, over the last several weeks, there have been Amish crews working on the building

He said many of those workers appeared to be teenagers, and much of the time they were not wearing safety harnesses.

Police appeared to be looking for surveillance video after the fall.
