BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. — A man accused of drilling a hole and spying on his neighbor in Butler County faced the woman in court Tuesday.
Russell Harnish is accused of drilling a peep hole through a shared wall at a Butler County apartment complex earlier this month to spy on his female next-door neighbor.
“No,” Harnish said Tuesday as he made his first court appearance and Channel 11’s Amy Marcinkiewicz asked him if he drilled a hole.
The judge dropped a charge of stalking, but waived to court charges of invasion of privacy and criminal mischief.
The alleged victim told Marcinkiewicz that she’s ready to testify and hopes Harnish will be ordered to stay in jail “for a while.”
