RONCO, Pa. — A man is accused of trying to kill his mother in Fayette County.
Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele says Nicholas Easter, 41, tried to kill his 69-year-old mother on Friday night, as she returned to their Ronco home.
Aubele says Easter “violently assaulted” his mother with a blunt object while wearing a ski mask. He also reportedly hit her with a vehicle, causing significant injuries.
Easter is charged with attempted homicide, robbery and aggravated assault. He’s being held without bond at the Fayette County Jail.
