Man cited after crash into Butler Eat’n Park

A man was cited after driving into a restaurant in Butler County last month.

David L. Smith Jr., 56, of Butler, was cited for driving with a suspended or revoked license. State police say he was traveling south on Route 8 in Center Township around 6 a.m on Jan. 16 when he crossed the northbound lanes and crashed into the Eat’n Park at 114 Clearview Circle.

Troopers said Smith had minor injuries but refused transport to a hospital.

No customers were inside the Butler County restaurant at the time of the crash.
