WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. — Police in Washington County said a man in a stolen car led them on a chase through Cecil Township, reaching speeds of more than 90 MPH.
Investigators said the chase began around 3 a.m. when officers began following 20-year-old Mark Phillip Nikl.
Police said Nikl took off onto Route 50 and at one point, drove off of the road and through some yards.
The chase came to an end in Canonsburg where investigators took him into custody. Nickl is charged with fleeing and eluding police and aggravated assault.
