Man wanted for Michigan homicide caught in Mercer County

MERCER COUNTY, Pa. — A man wanted for homicide in Grand Rapids, Michigan was caught in Mercer County after he was pulled over for a traffic violation on Nov. 16, according to the criminal complaint.

Sir-Urious Wynn had an active arrest warrant in Michigan for shooting and killing a man outside of a convenience store.

He was the passenger in the car when it was pulled over on I-79. When asked for his ID, Wynn gave the police two fake names. The first name wasn’t in the system but the second one was, although the photo with the name didn’t match Wynn.

He was identified after police got his fingerprint and ran it through the database, finding the arrest warrant in the process.
