WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. — A man working to repair a roof of a Westmoreland County restaurant slipped and fell to his death Tuesday.
The coroner's office said the victim, Cain Yates, suffered extensive head injuries when he fell from the roof to the parking lot of the First Wok Chinese Restaurant on Main Street in Ligonier.
Channel 11 News has learned that 53-year-old Cain was from Conemaugh Township, near Johnstown.
Police said there was a light rain in the area, which made the roof wet when Yates fell.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
