Temperatures remain mild Sunday evening, rain and snow mix possible for Monday morning

PITTSBURGH — It will be mild and breezy this evening with a few passing showers, slightly colder air will move in to start the next workweek. A few lingering rain showers may mix with snow showers or flurries overnight into Monday morning, mainly in the ridges. Lows will be in the low to mid 30s.

The Full “Snow” Moon is tonight which is a Micromoon the smallest and dimmest full moon of 2023. This full moon is the farthest in its orbit but will not appear much different than any other full moon to us. It may be difficult to see tonight due to sky conditions with clouds in the area.

Monday will be the coolest day of the workweek, highs will be in the upper 30s near 40 degrees. High temperatures this week will be in the 50s with the chance for showers late Tuesday afternoon and rain for Thursday. Colder air will return next weekend.
