Pa. state troopers raise more than $5,000 for U.S. troops overseas

CARRICK, Pa. — Pennsylvania state troopers held a benefit event Friday night in Carrick to show their gratitude to U.S. troops overseas.

Troopers partnered with the organization - “Operation Troop Appreciation,” which provides essential supplies to service members. They raised more than $5,000.

For the benefit, troopers also collected morale-boosting items, such as DVDs, games and footballs to send overseas.
