PAT to remove decals after ‘racist' complaint

PITTSBURGH — The Port Authority says it’s removing some ads from its buses after drivers complained they are racist.

The decals with the words “Ziggin Zaggin” have been used as a promotional campaign for years.

However, according to Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE, someone complained after seeing one of those words in a rear-view mirror earlier this week.

Seeing it backwards, the man said it was a racial slur.

PAT apologized and said it won’t cost anything to have them removed.
