PITTSBURGH — City of Pittsburgh crews were busy Thursday night into Friday handling fallout from severe storms.

Multiple departments responded to the record rainfall and high winds that led to flooding, fallen trees and downed wires, plus scores of power outages.
City officials say no storm-related injuries have been reported, despite medics taking more than 60 calls.

First responders and crews continue to work throughout the city as another anticipated round of storms approaches, according to a Friday afternoon release.
Traffic lights are not working or are flashing at several intersections. Officials say these should be treated as a four-way stop.

The city provided this list of safety recommendations:
- Never drive into standing water, as your vehicle could be carried away
- Avoid flood-prone roads
- Never walk or drive into flood waters
- Don’t go past traffic barriers
- Report downed power lines to 911, and don’t touch them
