PITTSBURGH - The city of Pittsburgh went full Gotham Thursday night to welcome Pirates pitcher A.J. Burnett back to the mound.
Projections of the bat signal were seen on at least three downtown buildings from PNC Park.
Burnett, who had been sidelined since July 31 with right elbow inflammation, is an avid Batman fan.
