Pittsburgh Public Schools taking votes on 2024 Spring Break

The public can share their preferences for Pittsburgh Public Schools’ 2024 Spring Break.

One option keeps the current weeklong Spring Break, while the second option shortens the Spring Break, ending the school year earlier.

The public can provide input on the final proposed 2023-24 calendar at www.pghschools.org/calendarvote.

The first day of school for all grade levels except for kindergarten is Aug. 28. The first day of school for kindergarten students is Aug. 31.

The board is expected to vote on the final school year calendar at the March 22 meeting.
