PHOENIX, Ariz. — Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw was the target of some pretty hilarious jokes Thursday -- and nothing from the Hall of Famer’s past was off-limits.

"What can these guys possibly say to me that isn't being said daily on social media? Heck….I may even leave here uplifted," Bradshaw said to the Friars Club.
The star-studded lineup of attendees and roasters included Franco Harris, Mel Blount, Joe Namath, Joe Montana, Lisa Lampanelli, Rob Riggle, Frank Caliendo, Howie Long, and Jordin Sparks – who sang the National Anthem before the event began.
AZCentral was there, and reported Bradshaw's multiple divorces, intelligence, commercials about shingles and his appearance were some of the many topics the comedians targeted.
"You try to express the fact that you really love this person," Riggle told AZCentral. "You don't want to take it too personally, be too mean or too nasty. If it comes from a place of true respect and affection, then it's a ton of fun."
McHale was quick to mention Bradshaw’s four Super Bowl rings.
"One for each Super Bowl championship and failed marriage," he said.
According to AZCentral, Lampanelli said Bradshaw, "looks like Hulk Hogan's grandfather."
Comedian Jim Norton said he, "looks like Robert Duvall in every role after 1980."
Montana talked about how Bradshaw, "always gave 100 percent: 50 percent on the field, and 50 percent to his ex-wife."
The event was held in the Frank Lloyd Wright Ballroom at the Arizona Biltmore. It will be broadcast Friday on ESPN2.
