Police investigating after man shot in Turtle Creek

The Allegheny County Police Department is investigating a shooting Saturday morning.

At 6:08 a.m., County 911 learned of a man shot in the 7700 block of Penn Avenue. That’s near the Wilkinsburg-Pittsburgh line.

First responders learned that the shooting happened somewhere in Turtle Creek, police say.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and was last said to be stable.
