SCOTT TOWNSHIP, Pa. –- Police in Scott Township said they are looking for a sex offender who failed to re-register his residence.
According to police, Raemone Hollins, 34, is a lifetime Megan’s Law register. Officers went to Hollins’ home at Berkwood Drive to check on him, but he was no longer living there.
“He obviously doesn’t care because he’s putting his future in jeopardy,” Pennsylvania State Trooper Robin Mungo said.
Police said a man living at the house told them he knew Hollins but didn’t know where he was.
Authorities obtained an arrest warrant for Hollins, and he is now charged with two felony counts of failure to comply with registration of sexual offender’s requirements.
Jeff Breen, who lives next to the house Hollins claimed to have been living at on Berkwood Drive, said he had no idea Hollins was convicted of multiple sex crimes.
“I would have liked to have known,” Breen said. “Maybe I should pay more attention. I felt like the neighborhood was a good neighborhood and nothing was going on.”
According to police, Hollins’ criminal history includes statutory rape, corruption of minors, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault dating back to 1998.
Officials said Hollins hasn’t registered since July 2010. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
