Police secure second warrant in connection with deadly shooting at The Waterfront

HOMESTEAD, Pa. — The Allegheny County Police Homicide unit has secured a second warrant in connection with the deadly shooting outside of Steak 'n Shake at The Waterfront Wednesday.

Paul Sanders, 20, is wanted on charges of homicide, conspiracy and robbery in connection with the death of Imani Porter, 20, of Point Breeze.

Porter was a former student at Allderdice High School.

Police said Sanders is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and 165 pounds. He has a medium build and facial hair.

Sanders is known to frequent the Wilkinsburg and Braddock areas.  He is also known to drive a white Pontiac sedan.

On Thursday, police arrested Jaron Young, 17, of Penn Hills, in connection with the shooting.

Young told Channel 11 reporter Brandon Hudson, "Wrong place, wrong time," as he was led away to jail.

Pittsburgh native and nationally known rap star Wiz Khalifa sent a tweet out to his followers saying that Porter was his uncle.

"My uncle was younger and more level headed than all of us. I would have never seen this happening in a million years," Khalifa said via his Twitter account.

Another tweet sent out by Khalifa said, "God has a plan #RestWithGodImani."

Investigators believe the incident was a drug deal gone bad.
