PITTSBURGH — Port Authority police are looking for a man accused of exposing himself to a woman on a bus and then following her into the street in broad daylight.
Police said about a week ago the man struck up a conversation with a woman riding a bus. The woman told police that at some point he exposed himself and then fondled himself in front of her. The encounter didn’t end there.
“The victim exited the bus first. The gentleman got off the bus with her. That's when she said she was calling the police and he left the area,” said Port Authority police Lt. Matt Porter.
Camera aboard the bus captured the suspect as he exited the bus.
Police said the suspect is in his early to mid-20s and is 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He also speaks Spanish.
“No one deserves this kind of environment to be in. That’s why we’re working tirelessly,” said Porter.
Authorities said the man was seen with a blue and black duffle bag and is known to frequent the East Side.
Police also said they believe there could be more victims and ask anyone who has had contact with the suspect to contact them.
