According to police, when one of the restaurant’s managers began to lead a customer to a seat, that’s when Kuntz made his move.
One of the restaurant’s patrons intervened.
"I heard a sound that wasn't normal. I looked behind me and saw the guy behind the register," Robert Wright said. "I jumped up, threw him to the ground and took the crowbar off of him."
After taking the crowbar, Wright and a few other men held the suspect down until police arrived.
"The nerve of this guy to come in a family restaurant and take someone’s hard-earned money," Wright said.
