PITTSBURGH — Collier Township Police are working to find out how bus and a car collided on Interstate 79 Tuesday morning.
The impact caused the bus to overturn with students inside on 79 North around 7 a.m. Three students were treated for minor injuries at the hospital, and then went home.
The bus carrying the students had seatbelts, but it is unclear of those seatbelts were being used.
The bus was headed to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School in Coraopolis.
Tim Plocinick, the school’s principal, was thankful for the students’ safety.
